二十年來，教改的是非功過多所評議。本片遍訪教改倡導者、教育行政領導者、批判教改者以及教師、學生與家長，一方面回顧教改的歷史意義，另方面透析教改所面臨的困境，以及背後的深層因素。在形式上運用幽默的脫口秀，寓沉重於輕鬆；在結構上，以小學生讀各種教科書作為導引，庖丁解牛，層層深入教改的核心，同時也深入台灣社會文化改革的核心。

In the past 20 years, education reform in Taiwan had evoked vigorous debates and still under scrutiny. In this film, advocators, government officials, critics, teachers, students, and parents were interviewed, in an attempt to review it from a historical perspective to analyze the dilemmas it faced. Taking the form of stand-up comedy, a serious topic was presented in a light-hearted way.
